We’ve been celebrating world book day today; Cat, Fay and Khin-thant were delighted to welcome Anne-Marie Mendieta, Reading Recovery Teacher, Barlow Hall Primary School and 38 children, accompanied by Staff and Parents to the Library. Each Child was given a free book to celebrate World Book Day and we had a lot of fun with stories and arts and crafts, and the opportunity to join the Library.
On Saturday 7th February our library volunteers will be on hand from 9.30am – 12.30pm to help you celebrate National Library Day with us at Barlow Moor Community Library!!!
Also, we will be having a VERY special visit from BookStart Bear himself! So please bring your under 5’s along to meet him and perhaps take a picture!!!
There will also be other FREE activities on offer, such as storytelling, craft making and IT taster sessions. To view our flyer please click on this link : BCL national libraries day poster (1)
